The original cover art for Spider-Man #313 drawn by Todd McFarlane is currently being auctioned off on eBay, and oh what an auction it is turning out to be. Sold by Mr. McFarlane himself for just $700 (not sure exactly when it was sold by him, but according to his own Twitter posts he states “HOW 2 MAKE MONEY: Sold a Spidey cover I did years ago for about $700. It’s now on EBAY for over $55,000! Guess I should have asked $800.”
At the time of this post, the bidding was at an astounding $56,979 with 16 hours still to go! Should make for a stellar and possibly record breaking finish.
